An invitation to experience Canada through the senses, discovering the people, places and unexpected connections that make each journey memorable.
The story
Made for AMI, Postcards From… invites viewers to experience Canada through taste, touch, smell, sight and sound. Local guides lead the way into food, culture, nature and adventure, revealing the character of a place through the people who call it home.
From winter adventures in Yellowknife and the gold-rush history of Dawson City to the shores of Halifax, the small-town charm of Frelighsburg and the wild coast of Tofino, the series finds unexpected connections across the country. Along the way, there’s dog sledding, glassblowing, seaweed tea, adaptive surfing and plenty of reasons to step outside your comfort zone.
Therese Estacion hosts Season 4, with Christa Couture taking the lead in Seasons 5–7. Season 7 also welcomes comedian DJ Demers as a special guest host. With disability and accessibility woven into the experience, the series makes room for different ways of moving through the world. At its heart are curiosity, shared experiences and the joy of saying yes to something new.
